Buzzz… – Presentations On the Topic of ‘Inspiration’

Buzzz… is a new event for Rockhampton. It involves people who are part of our community doing short, punchy presentations on a theme. At the inaugural Buzzz… event, the theme is ‘Inspiration (who or what inspires me?)’.

The speakers are:

• Helen Newell (Australian Institute for Commercialisation)
• Dr Susan Kinnear (CQUniversity Australia)
• Margaret Hornagold (Darumbal Community Youth Service)
• Mick Cranny (Tropical Pines)
• Kate Venables (Centacare)
• Dr Peter Reaburn (CQUniversity Australia)
• Stephen Power (comedian)

The speakers choose 5 to 15 images/slides which automatically advance using a timer. They will speak for 5 minutes. Then there will be time for comments and questions.

This is a child-friendly event. Everyone is welcome.

$10 or $5 concession

Performing Arts Centre at North Rockhampton High School
(the large building on Simpson Street within the school grounds)
